Braun will be responsible for developing a comprehensive multi-channel strategy that will “complement and enhance” Tractor Supply's existing in-store offerings, the company said. He will report to CFO Anthony Crudele.

"Our goal is to create a truly customer-centric, seamless shopping experience attuned to the growing lifestyle needs of our customers," said Jim Wright, president and CEO.

Braun has 20 years of experience within the marketing and e-commerce fields, the company said. He previously held vp positions at Clarke American and at W.W. Grainger.

As of April 1, 2006, Tractor Supply Company operated 624 stores in 37 states, including one store in British Columbia.
