The in-store event will be held ever every PetSmart location on Oc. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. Photographers will be on hand during the costume party to take pictures of the animals. Photo packages (including an exclusive photo frame) will be sold for $6.95, or$4.95 with a Pet Perks savings program card.

A costume party will be held in each store at 7 p.m. The top three finishers will receive awards. Free Howl-O-Ween collar charms will also be given out to the first 100 pet owners at each store.

This Halloween, PetSmart is featuring a variety of new costumes for pets. Costumes available for dogs are Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Batman, Superman, a cow, chicken and a devil. Cats have six different cat hat styles, including a pink pig, a pumpkin and a leopard, all for $4.99.

PetSmart also is offering a special pet grooming package this Halloween, which includes scented remoisturizer and cologne, ribbon and a Halloween charm.
