Kirkland's hires new director of stores

Kirkland's has announced that Jeff Ostler has joined the company as vp, director of stores, effective March 26. Ostler will be responsible for the entire operations division, reporting directly to Cathy David, Kirkland's Home president and coo.
Ostler was most recently vp of store operations for Hastings Entertainment, a multi-unit retail organization operating in 20 states. Prior to Hastings, heworked with Denninghouse as vp of store operations, and before that, enjoyed a 13-year career with Dollar General, where, as division manager of retail operations, he supervised over 1,000 stores and 12,000 employees.
David noted, "We are very excited about Jeff joining Kirkland's Home in this key role. He has had a highly successful career in multi-unit retail operations, and brings the expertise, talent and energy to our operations team to deliver strong results and partner with our leadership team in delivering our vision for Kirkland's Home."
