Office Depot Hires Merchandising Veteran

Office Depot has hired Kim Maguire to lead the company's merchandising organization. Maguire, who brings 30 years of retail merchandising experience to Office Depot, spent nearly two years at QVC as executive VP and chief merchandising officer. Before that, she spent three years as executive VP, merchandising at Circuit City. Prior to Circuit City, Maguire was a 20-year veteran at Target Corp.
Additionally, Randy Wick has joined Office Depot as VP, merchandising, strategy and services. He replaces Stephen Olsen, who will now assume the role of VP, merchandising, supplies.
Wick recently left Circuit City where he was the senior VP and general merchandise manager for consumer electronics. Prior to Circuit City, Wick held executive merchandising positions at Petters Group Worldwide and Best Buy.
