Nordstrom to Open in Newport Beach, Calif.

Nordstrom announced it has signed a letter of intent with The Irvine Company to open a Nordstrom store at Fashion Island, in Newport Beach, Calif.
The two-level, 138,000-sq.-ft. store is scheduled to open in spring 2010.
The Nordstrom at Fashion Island will be the retailer's sixth full-line store in Orange County, Calif. It will be build on the site of the former Macy's Women's store.
